Project Partners

The Pembina Institute provides overall project direction and policy research, conducts economic and environmental analysis, obtains legal opinions, develops model by-law language, and prepares communications pieces to municipal councils, the provincial government, and other stakeholders.

Deborah Curran & Company manages the legal aspects of the project, drawing from previous experience working with local governments and the Real Estate Foundation.

Light House Sustainable Building Center provides additional expertise on the technical analysis of energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in buildings, and the costs of different green building technologies.

Whistler Centre for Sustainability provides on-the-ground support to facilitate the Municipality of Whistler's engagement in the project.
